The
Nation
Live!
You
wanted
the
best
and
you’ve
certainly
got
it
here.
Kiss
is
one
of
the
world’s
most
flamboyant
and
successful
rock
groups
ever.
Since
the
early
‘70s
they
rocked
the
world
with
their
outrageous
make-up,
costumes
and
explosive
live
shows,
growing
with
each
album
and
building
an
army
of
loyal
fans.
After
their
reunion
for
MTV
Unplugged
in
the
mid-‘90s
with
original
drummer
(Peter
Criss)
and
guitarist
(Ace
Frehley),
core
members
Gene
Simmons
(bass
&
vocals)
and
Paul
Stanley
(guitar
&
vocals)
resurrected
their
classic
make-up
line-up
to
record
breaking
success.
Since
then
Peter
and
Ace
dropped
out
again,
replaced
by
Eric
Singer
(who
played
with
Kiss
for
many
years
after
the
death
of
2nd
drummer
Eric
Carr),
and
Tommy
Thayer.
They
may
not
look
exactly
like
the
other
guys
in
the
make-up
(neither
did
the
originals
after
many
years
of
aging
and
hard
living!),
but
they
play
it
well.
This
show
was
shot
after
the
Kiss
Symphony
expedition
and
captures
Kiss
in
full
force.
Sure,
the
age
is
showing,
but
they
still
pack
that
punch
(as
opposed
to
paunch).
The
double
disc
contains
20
classic
Kiss
tunes
from
across
their
career
spanning
four
decades
–
there’s
Love
Gun,
Deuce,
She,
I
Love
It
Loud
and
Tears
Are
Falling,
as
well
as
War
Machine,
100,000
years,
Unholy,
Shout
It
Out
Loud,
I
Was
Made
For
Lovin’
You,
Detroit
Rock
City,
God
Gave
Rock
&
Roll
To
You
II
and,
yes,
Rock
&
Roll
All
Nite.
Of
course
each
member
gets
a
sizzling
solo
turn
-
what
did
you
expect?
You
also
get
to
see
backstage
footage
in
the
dressing
room,
meet
&
greets,
photo
shoots,
and
soundchecks.
Bonus
features
give
you
seven
Kiss
Powervision
songs
(which
allows
you
to
select
isolated
camera
views
of
each
member),
backstage
rehearsal
footage,
and
bits
from
their
Palais
Theater
performance
in
Australia.
