THE MATRIX RELOADED - Motion Picture Soundtrack
Recurring artists who really made the first soundtrack a killer includes
the fragile Deftones,
the superior Rob Zombie,
the incandescent Marilyn Manson,
the irresistible slamming Rage Against
The Machine and the subtly powerful Rob
D (now going full blown as Rob
Dougan, revisiting and reinterpreting
his Clubbed To Death track from the first film). The other sonic
vibrators enhancing the incredible pictures of this film come in the shifting
shapes of Linkin Park's
hybrid metal, Fluke's dark electronic
approach, good-guys
P.O.D., Ünloco's
standard nu-metal style, Team Sleep
with a Bladerunner
pondering, trance-dance-electronics from Oakenfold
and (the seemingly out of place) Dave
Matthews Band (at least in a remix of
the former mentioned DJ superstar). Disc 2 contains the mood drenched
theme-, instrumental- en background music.
Where the first film's soundtrack excluded him, here they make up for
Don Davis' omission. Davis and Juno
Reactor cover most of the ground, separately
and as a team. Another Rob Dougan
remix is thrown in, but not loosely. You also get previews from The
Matrix Reloaded, the incredible Animatrix
spin-off and its Final Flight Of The Osiris. A documentary can
also be accessed on the game Enter The Matrix by the resurrected
80s games giant Atari.
You can't help but be a part of the phenomenon and garner all of these
Matrix
elements into your collection for frequent reference.
