VALIENT THORR - Immortalizer
With all of the beards going around, one may expect a full-on Viking Metal barrage to leap from the speakers. What this denim-clad quintet offers is a rock-fueled mixture of Metal, Hardcore, Thrash, and Punk, dedication to the old-school not neglected. With the energy levels always cranked up high, the subject matter is a wild and varied batch, dealing with the likes of future cops, the essence of intensity, far-out galactic moments, mythical- & medieval subjects, legends, the metaphysical, nuclear war, self-realization & self-awareness, and... pro wrestling! They can certainly not be blamed for a lack of diversity!
