ISOBEL is an alternative acoustic / dark gothic folk / neo folk project from Cape Town, South Africa,
formed by Terminatryx vocalist Sonja Ruppersberg and author Nerine Dorman.
Originally titled A Murder , the duo wanted to explore musical realms they haven't tread before.

The debut album 'Dark Ocean' (produced by Paul Blom) was postponed with the new release date on the horizon looking at late-2023 / early-2024.

Live ISOBEL performances have included an Ingrid Jonker poetry evening and a special Nirvana cover session before the screening of
documentary Soaked In Bleach at the Sound On Screen Music Film Festival, the Mercury Live Blues Sessions and the inaugural
ALTERnatives music festival.
