2002

When Terminatryx was created in 2002, all F8 operations were put on hold, including :
- Pre-production & production of F8 music videos
- F8 merchandise
- Recording of A Star Is Miscarried EP
- Live shows

It is unlikely that any F8 songs will get high radio rotation any time soon as its pop sensibilities are rather non-existent - not to say it's inaudible, quite the contrary - it simply does not conform to your run of the mill recipe-laden boring meanderings funneled into cash generating concepts of puerile, base, formulaic, instant auditory rape aimed at commercial radio...


2004

Extensive F8 music was used in Paul & Sonja's 2004 short flick imPERFECTION ( details at www.flamedrop.com/pictures )
During early- and mid-2000 various programming, sequencing, loops and backing was created, but not used - these got resurrected and used across the new release of all the F8 recordings, incl. songs on the 2017 release The Soul And The Flesh).


2009

The F8 track SexHex was included in the historic Kopskoot! heavy Afrikaans compilation CD (produced & compiled by Paul).


2017

In 2017 it dawned that F8 will celebrate its 20th anniversary(!)
To celebrate, all of the 4 recording sessions across the years each got their first ever digital release, plus the new 2017 offering :

THE SOUL AND THE FLESH (2017)
A STAR IS MISCARRIED (2000)
ADDICTIONS (1999)
PRONOUNCED: FATE (1998)
A D8 WITH F8 (1997)

All these 27 tracks will be accumulatively compiled in the anthology
IN RETROSPECT (1997 - 2017)
A very limited amount will be available on double CD, bolted to a metal plate (initially intended for the late-'90s STEP ON IT! collected works.

While no concrete live plans are on the cards, it is not ruled out.
If there is a demand, additional personnel will be recruited for that purpose.
