FAMILY VALUES Tour 2006

The
Korn led Family Values Tour has been going for almost a decade, and seen them joined by the likes of
Limp Bizkit, Rammstein, Ice Cube, Staind, Linkin Park, and Stone Temple Pilots. The 2006 Tour featured Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf, Dir en grey, 10 Years and Deadsy, playing to an accumulated 400,000 people. The DVD features 16 live songs from the 7 bands. This is the first time Korn and Deftones toured together, a combination many fans have been screaming for years. Being the headliners, Korn gets 5 songs (including Right Now, Blind and Freak On A Leash with Corey from Stone Sour on guest vocals and some acoustic renditions). Two Deftones cuts feature Nosebleed and a personal favourite, My Own Summer. Stone Sour (led by Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist James Root) deliver their more rock influenced sides with Reborn and Through The Glass. 10 Years is in the vein of Incubus and also get two live clips. From the East comes Dir en grey, a refreshingly intense diversion from the American bands. Flyleaf, with their female vocalist are Korn clones in essence, and also do a Nine Inch Nails cover version. The only Deadsy track included is an acoustic one.
Besides the concert footage you get a behind-the-scenes piece including interviews, backstage footage and some expected mayhem and stupidity.
Also available on CD.
