This German loonatik took a Yamaha Electron organ (the kind you'll find in the lounge corner of many SA homes of the 70's), Blublockers shades and set out to do popular song HIS style. This is one hilarious album and scary enough it grows on you such an extent that you can'r get enough. The man does rap medleys (which include Busta Rhymes & Run DMC), soppy medleys (Celine Dion, Sinead O'Connor & Elton John as well as a Metal Medley (Metallica, Type O Negative & Danzig. Even the Bloodhound Gang is honoured with a medley of some of their gems. Then there are the stupendous versions of AC/DC's Higway to Hell and I Was Made For Lovin' You by Kiss. Pure genius. Lest we forget the German songs, one which includes guest vocals by metal band Sodom's vocalist, Tom Angelripper! Britney Spears can't escape Kurt's cheeze and neither can Status Quo or Modern Talking. These versions become even better than the originals and in cases where they were crap to begin with, he elevates it to a totally new level of enjoyment. - PB |
