TERMINATRYX - "VIRUS" Music Video / the short film "MARKED" / S.A. HORRORFEST promo clip Combo Project

For the 2009 South African HORRORFEST Film Festival its creators (Paul & Sonja from Terminatryx) produced a promo clip with Sonja turning into a werewolf (make-up FX by Clinton Smith and his Cosmesis team).
For 2010 however this incomplete clip has been expanded for a three-pronged function, incl. the short film "Marked", a Terminatryx music video for "Virus", and its original S.A. HORRORFEST promo clip incarnation.
Below you'll find the original 2009 clip, and a teaser of the new 2010 footage, soon to be expanded into the 3 above mentioned incarnations.

TERMINATRYX - "SIEK+SAT"

"Siek+Sat" is the first Afrikaans song by Terminatryx and is translated as "Sick+Tired".
The video embodies the band's rage erupting with the chorus as it relates to the tirade of dissatisfaction unfolding in the lyrics.

The music video was shot late-2008 and shelved for technical reasons.
Its rough edit was screened before the Makabra Ensemble live soundtrack performance for Nosferatu at Oppi Koppi in 2009, at the South African HorrorFest, as well as the Short Cuts- and Future Shorts events.
It will be resurrected soon.

Featuring: Sonja Ruppersberg, Paul Blom, Patrick Davidson, Ronnie Belcher
Produced by Paul Blom & Sonja Ruppersberg
Directed & Edited by Paul Blom.
Special make-up FX by Clinton Smith & Daleen Badenhorst from Cosmesis
Camera: Roice Nel from Earth Entertainment
Editor: Paul Blom
Lighting: Silver Bullet
Location: iRonic Studios
Stills: Clinton Smith, Daleen Badenhorst, Paul Blom

TERMINATRYX - "MIDNIGHT"
For the
Terminatryx song Midnight (a subtle parody on the Gothic community) the atmospherically lit black & white visuals of the band was intercut with footage from the 1922 F.W. Murnau classic Nosferatu. With the band's affinity for horror movies and the theme of the song, it was a perfect fit.

Below is the "Midnight" music video:

(needless to say, we prefer the album audio version above, but for those who like it lo-fi...)

TERMINATRYX - LIVE 2003
The first ever
Terminatryx live shows were as support for German Darkwave legends Diary Of Dreams on their South African Tour in November 2003. During these three shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg, video footage from all of these was amalgamated as a document of this debut performance. Additional footage included short pieces on the airport & airplane, setting up before the show, the hotel and the audience lining up outside the Cape Town venue, the Mercury Live.
The songs include: Science Friction, We Come In Peace, SleepWalkers, Tabloid Android, CONsume, Absinthminded and ?uC.
The shows featured key members Sonja (vocals), Paul (bassist, programmer, backing-vocals, songwriter), and temporary live members Ronnie (drums), Malcolm (guitar) and Brett (guitar).
