FLAMEDROP PRODUCTIONS is a Multi-Media Digitainment Organization specializing in the broad range of digital entertainment.
It was established in 2000 and is owned and administered by Paul André Blom, in co-operation with Sonja Ruppersberg.

FLAMEDROP DESIGN has produced websites including Shadow Realm Inc., Terminatryx, S.A. HorrorFest, X Fest, Cinemaniacs as well as the original Arno Carstens, Kobus!, and Take2 sites.

FLAMEDROP PICTURES produce Music Videos, Short Films, Documentary & Making-Of subjects, while corporate work is not excluded. Feature film aspirations are there, but funding is a whole other story.

2009 FLAMEDROP PRODUCTIONS and SHADOW REALM inc. will embark on the South African distribution of Classic / Horror / Thriller / Chiller / Bizarre / Rare movies on DVD. The first push in that direction was with the Terminatryx DVD entitled TERMINATRYX / NOSFERATU, released late-2008 in co-production with ENT Entertainment, and features the full 1922 classic vampire film.

> Currently in production: 3 ALTERnatives documentaries telling the story of South Africa's alternative music scene.
> Live video with extra content on SA's longest running and most influential Hard Rock / Metal Band, V.O.D - VOICE OF DESTRUCTION (now available on DVD)
> An in-depth documentation on the venture into the Karoo desert with SA supermodel Christina Storm, for the DESERT STORM photo shoot
> The short film imPERFECTION
> Music Videos include that of V.O.D, TERMINATRYX, KOBUS! (screened on TV shows like Geraas - SABC2, and Kwêla - KykNet) and TAKE2.
> Live video of TERMINATRYX's show on the Dream Collector Tour (2003)
> The classic vampire film NOSFERATU, released on the TERMINATRYX DVD with their new musical soundtrack written for the movie
> HORRORFEST promo clip / TERMINATRYX VIRUS music video / MARKED short film combo production
> Digital Video work has also been commissioned by, and executed for WOOLWORTHS, OLD MUTUAL, DESERT DIAMOND and NEDBANK FINANCIAL PLANNERS
> A co-produced pilot TV show called FAKE FUR was shot, but not submitted

FLAMEDROP EVENTS charges out into the population with such specialised get-togethers as the annual SOUTH AFRICAN HORRORFEST- and X FEST Film Festivals, as well as CELLUDROID, DARING DOCCIES, SOUND ON SCREEN, REEL INK and CINEMANIACS. These started with the HorrorFest where a host of classic and new horror / thriller / chiller movies are screened at the Labia Theatre (Orange Street, Gardens, Cape Town), and includes locally made shorts and live music performances to old silent classics. FLAMEDROP AUDIO specializes in the area of creative Digital Audio. Flamedrop has produced independent music projects like F8 and TERMINATRYX, as well as the live soundtrack performances to classic silent movies at the S.A. HorrorFest, and released CDs. vinyl LPs, DVDs and streaming

Under the FLAMEDROP umbrella, Paul Blom has also supplied independent writing for the likes of The Argus, Muse Magazine, Stage Magazine, The Star, Die Burger, Son, JIP, Cape Times, Fangoria Magazine (USA), Something Wicked Magazine, SL Magazine, Top Forty Magazine, Sunday Life Magazine and a range of other publications since 1997.
A country-wide distributed Magazine is also currently being developed.


FIRESTARTERS promote photographic projects and thus far include the DESERT STORM and BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE shoots - the main aim being to tackle interesting photographic subjects deviating from the norm.
